How does anyone clean kegs with small hole..

Basically i couldnt afford a king keg, and as its my first keg i thought i'd get the cheap one.

Trouble is its got a very small hole in the top, does anyone else have one, if so how do you clean and sanitize!?

i cnat get to it to measure atm, i'd guess 3 1/2 inches ish (not big enuff to get your hand in!) similar to youngs one.

I assume you mean the standard budget keg. I'd use soda crystals or an oxiclean to clean, then an iodophor to sanitise. However, when i used to use them I'd fill them up with vwp overnight.

I wont need to clean for the first go, just sanitize. i use vwp too.

got a docklands porter to fill it up with!!

do you use co2??

I use CO2 now, yes. But only to serve and not to carbonate.
