My late father was in the pub trade when i was a kid and i remember him cleaning the lines with some sort of plug which he forced through the pipes with co2, or whatever was used for pushing the beer up to the pumps, come to think of it, my syphon tube was also stained with elderberry some years ago and i cannot budge it, might have a go with a ciggie filter/steriliser and a car tyre pump, Dave
