This?

Or is it as cheap and nasty as the price suggests?
A TC-10 is only £10 more. Would that be better for a HERMs system?

Yeah the TC-10 will only go up to +60c and will only switch 2400w so it'll only switch one small element? Don't know what elements you have but mine are 2750w. You want something like a Pid you shown but with that one you will also need a SSR (solid state relay)
I brought a couple of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PID-TEMPERATURE-C ... 286.c0.m14
I know it says they are in Ireland but realy it's China! Even still it was here in under a week which is quicker than if it did come from Ireland!
A couple of other guys use them also. It comes with a cheap sensor which you can discard and buy a more robust and precise one.

I think when you factor the postage into it there's a lot of cheaper PIDs on ebay than that guy in Ireland, after all he is just drop shipping them. The original link to Virtual Village is good and they are great to deal with although i would go for something that controls more than just a K Type thermocouple for future upgrades ;)
