Hops or pellets

Hi folks, I'm planning my next brew and I want to add my own mix for the dry hop stage. Should I be using hop pellets for this?

Either is fine, pros and cons for both.

I would prefer to go with full hops if I can, I suppose I should have asked, can I just throw in the hops towards the end of fermentation or do I need to prime them or something in some way? I know I can just throw in the hop pellets.

I just feel the pellets get into the wort better if that makes any sense, i definitely get a more pronounced flavour when i use the pellets, it may of course all be in my mind

It would make sense to me that the greater surface area with pellet hops could potentially infuse more flavour, I also have a preference for pellets in dry hop because they settle out at the bottom of FV (quicker with cold crash) and dont seem to retain as much beer as whole hops. But I still use both types for this purpose

I do find pound for pound pellets a re bit more bang for your buck, use what you can get but if you have both I think now I am going to go for pellets

Keep saying I must try pellet hops, but also seem to forget when ordering stuff, they do seem easier for dry hopping.

Pellets for me. Less of a faff and keep much better.

You are fine to put either into your fb. Hops shouldn't introduce bacteria.

Geterbrewed are very good and do smaller amounts as well.
