Feels like its been awhile since I brewed last (probably only been a couple of months max)
Thinking of doing something bit different for me, usually brew hazy IPA style beers but this time of year I actually quite like a more malty, have been known to drink and enjoy some pales/ambers, like Ghost Ship or others more similar to an English pale.
Was looking at the Camera Home Brewing Essentials book last night and liked the sound of the tip on the Dr Hexter's Healer recipe of using american hops as part of the recipe to make a west coast style beer. I also looked up a recipe West Coast Blaster which uses similar malt bill.
Here's my recipe that I am planning to brew probably Thursday or some point over the bank holiday weekend. Many of you might also see the similarity with Pliny the Elder or Wookey Jack (which was unintentional at the time).
