Hopping a kit!!!!

Right I'm planning on adding a fair amount of hops to a simply pale ale I have laying about, I'm wondering the best way to do this.... Can someone help??? I was originally thinking of just dry hopping but now I'm wondering if it's worth taking a pan full of wort and boiling and adding the hops!?? I'm aiming to try and get a hoppy pale like a kernel or fourpure beer!!
