Hop spiders , bags , or just let it roll

I use a huge biab bag for the boil, held to the boiler with bulldog clips. Otherwise my tap got too blocked up when moving to the fv.

For dry hopping I just throw it it with no bag. All drops out in the cold crash, so haven't bothered with bags or spiders.

Aye.........tried a couple of hop spiders....one was utter 💩.
One i got from Malt Miller the other day is better.

They say once bitten twice as shy..or what ever they say...sure Clint will tell me 😁😁
So i justed hoyed in the hops in my GF, what a bell end....24L.
What a brewday from hell. infact.....i got so annoyed i took the whole wort with a jug until i could manage to hoy the whole thing...(obv i could of saved it) think clint can remember that day.
after spitting the dummy n calming doon, hop socks for years and whirl pool via electric stirrer.

Had to heighten the spider (wait for boil off) in a big brew and lower it...just wasnt happy with hops close to the top! if u know what i mean? defeat the object of using one if hows get oot in the kettle lol.
