Hop pellets

Hi, I usually use leaf hops and just add to the boil, I have a tube type filter atteched to the tap on a buffalo boiler. Anyway I've been given some pellets, do I use these the same as leaf or will they clog the filter ?

Put them in a muslin bag. Use about 10% more than you would use for proper hops late in the boil and for dry hopping.

I use stainless steel spoons to weight the muslin bag down for dry hopping. Others don't bother, and presumably allow the bag to float.
Either way there are no hop bits to worry about :thumb:.
