Among the many leaflets stuffed inside our local newspaper today was a *deckle-edged coconut doormat, bearing the inscription “Welcome Home Draught”.

I opened it, and it's from Morrison's, telling me about this new dispensing system from Molson Coors.

So, it looks like a 10 pint brown PET in a cardboard box, with a CO2 injector and tap.

Apart from the obvious drawback of having to drink 10 pints of Grolsch, C4*l*ng or C0°r$, are they re-usable?

:hmm: wonder if you can cannibalize the taps and hows the the CO2 injected.

Think I'll take my Mum shopping in Chester this Saturday as we don't have a Morrison's in Wrexham

As a reformed chav, I can confirm that if I was 18 again and still wore my reebok classic baseball cap...I would have bought one!!

Wouldn't bother, it's the races.

People on Jims have looked at this. They're not quite the same and not easily reused. But please go on twitter and tag everything with #whiteshieldinhomedraught please. Just a little thing we've got going...

the answer to re-using them is yes you can!
I have 10 pints of james squires ipa in one.

The system is basicly an ibrew Pig dispenser (10pint brown pet bottle) with a branded tap/co2 unit.

The main problem with re-use is the co2 sparklet. as the one supplied is much bigger than std sparklets. but i have managed to gas up with 3 std size ones & it seems to be dispensing aok.
To get the supplied sparklet out you just unscrew the black hand gas thing with a pair of grips, this breaks off the retaining lugs and you can screw the gas sparklet holder on and off as much as you like.

You may not find many in the shops at the mo though cos a large batch have been re-called for some reason!

If you buy one to try make sure you chill it for 24 hrs, then let the gas go then leave it another few hours for the co2 to saturate the beer, otherwise you will just get a glass of fob.
