Muntons Handcrafted IPA in a new Ferm bucket, I wish it had more headspace, I have a right mess to clear up

All cleared up but it keeps on coming :nono:

I guess it's fermenting then?

Then we have a Coopers Euro Lager with 2 x Saflager 23 in the fridge, much more tranquil and behaving except for the smell, off eggs (normal according to instructions):

This brewing lark is getting messy

Yes, that is a good, vigorous fermentation! I have had a few like that, which is why I do not use an airlock anymore. I have a bung and a plastic tube that comes out the top of the lid and down into a 2 litre plastic milk bottle part filled with StarSan.

No more mess to clean up as it all stays in the bottle.

Brill.
Now a 'go to' reference for helping folk.

Thanks Terry, i posted it on 13-08-2014 and am sure it was a sticky in the wine forums but for some reason it had got lost, i have edited it and copied it to the beer how to forum.
