So I brewed an IPA last week and something odd happened that I know is just not possible.
My preboil gravity was 1.050 @ 20°c and 31 liters.
Post boil, odd and also impossibly read 1.050 @20°c and 25 liters.
Mixed the same well during cooling and whirlpooling so am a bit lost as to what happened there.
Now i am assuming that IF the pre boil gravity was indeed 1.050, which the refractometer read 1.048, then my post boil at 25 liters should be about 1.062.
Also fermenting seems to have come to a halt and I'm at 1.010 which would give me an ABV of 6.8%
