What's has been your hidden gem surprise?

I've just cracked open a bottle of what I had labelled turbo cider. It was a most pleasant surprise to find it is actuall a bottle of Young's American IPA. A great result as I thought I'd finished all of them ages ago

Ooo! Well done! That's a nice pint.
My not so much of a suprise is the Cali common in my brew shed,made a couple of years ago,and I should tip it...it's still,surprisingly....rubbish!!

I found a half dozen bottles of speculoos imp stout in the back of the cupboard about a year ago that I had brewed six months previous. The cinnamon had mellowed out beautifully and was a very nice surprise.

Finding a few bottles of chocolate stout I brewed back in June 2018 a few months ago, got one bottle left it very much improved with age. Makes me tempted to always hide a way a few bottles of every batch of beer zI brew to see if they too improve.
