Hi Folks

I thought it would be nice to give myself a quick introduction, especially as I have been lurking around here for a while picking up some great tips and advice already!

I bought some equipment recently for a 'turbo wine coolers experiment' and was surprised how easy everything was. So with that done the Mrs bought me a beer kit to have a go with. I bought a few more bits 'n pieces that I needed and mixed it up last night.... now it is the waiting game (fingers crossed)

I don't think the one will be a competition winner as it was a very cheap kit but I short brewed it and I'm sure that it will be drinkable in a few weeks.

Even though I am new to this, I have enjoyed lots of real quality home brews in the past, but not thought of doing it myself because I thought it was a lot more complicated than it appears to be. So with that in mind I am really looking forward to some quality beers, and maybe even a glass or two of wine!

Cheers.

Matt

Thanks John, Norh East.. I bought a piano from W-Bay a few years ago, nice one.

I was a bit worried about my Hoppy Copper Bitter as it hadn't started bubbling after 24 hours in the FV, so I just pulled the lid of because it smelled ok in the room and it is bubbling like mad..... Happy days!
