Hi All
Joined the forum a few days ago after having a look round, you all seem like a friendly accommodateing bunch. Im fairly new to home brew started about 18mths ago (although i made wine the odd beer & tried spirits 30 odd yrs ago) with the usual youngs starter kit, that was was rather expensive drain cleaner!! I've since had some good results mainly with extracts adding spray malt & malt extract. I rock the leap just before xmas & started all grain brewing after buying Dave Lines book this was recommended by a friend of my dads who buy all account brew's some amazing wine & beer, So I tried DL's first recipe Fullers ESB ok it's not an AG just malt extract & hops but the difference in taste compared to the cans is amazing & the main thing is its more fun than boiling the kettle & pouring it in to a bucket. The ESB was good I have just drank the last of it :? . After getting DL's book which I found very easy to understand & liked I was recommended Graham Wheelers book as it was more up to date, so got it & brew the Guiness clone which is sat on the side not quite ready but slowly going evaporating if you no what I mean & his fuller London pride which are both AG & looks smell & tastes good but think I will leave it for a few more days as it only just finished fermenting !! Yes im in patient.
I could probably go on but by know most of you have lost the all to live so that's about it, my name is Steve
