Hi, I'm Shodi aka Tam just found your forum via a link on Jim's homebrew.
I am currently kit brewing and tc experiments in Dj's with a view to moving on to extract brewing soon as i have started to collect the required gear.

I am a stout and cider fan and i also do some wines.

I am looking forward to perusing the pages especially for stout tips and recipes.

Oats make a great addition to many beers - not just stouts and porters. I tend to throw a few ounces in just for the hell of it - gives a great smooth and silky 'mouth feel'.
