Hi from Northumberland

[Smoke & barley brewing]

Hi all,

I've been brewing for about six years off and on. I started out with kits and moved to all grain brewing about three years ago. That said I've probably only done about 20 brews in total, although I've started trying to brew a bit more recently. My most recent brews are a Christmas beer and a dark IPA.

I must admit I've visited the forum a few times in the past, usually when I've been looking for bits of information, but I never actually got round to joining. So when a Google search brought me here again I thought it was time to get a bit more involved in the community.

I'm a chemist by trade so my wife thinks I have a lab in the garage, cue Breaking Bad joke!
