Just thought I'd say hello before jumping into the rest of the forum...

Used to Brew some years ago but havn't for a while. Decided to get back into it and bought a Woodfords Wherry Microbrewery Starter set plus a single tin bitter kit that I'll run through it first to familiarise myself with the equipment before doing the Wherry kit. Bitters 3 days into fermenting and all looking good so far...

Anyway that about concludes the hello... See you around the forum

Tony

Thanks for the welcome

The Youngs's Bitter I am using as a test run is hardly bubbling at all now after almost 6 days, wont be long and time to barrel. Then onto the Wherry kit that came with the starter set.

Bought an Edme Irish Stout kit while out shopping today as a few seem to recommend it here. That will follow the Wherry. Some have suggested using brown sugar with the Stout, wondering if I should try it like that... as a first experiment off the stock standard kit methods...

Tony
