Hi I have just started experimenting with homebrew. Done a few kits but I live in cornwall, so there are no shops which sell any gear. Is there any websites you could recommend, were I could get some decent stuff ?

I buy from the home brew shop and geterbrewed mainly.

there is a discount code for forum users for geterbrewed as well

greetings from Cornwall too ! if you anywhere near Launceston there is Cornwall Smallholding Supplies, they stock pretty much everything you'd need and are very helpful.

Hello Awalker00.

I have only just joined this forum too.
I don;t live in your area but just had a quick look on line.
Google came up with Camborne, Penryn, Liskeard, and as you probably know Trago has stores in Falmouth and their main one between Dobwalls and Bodmin.

I'm like a kid in a sweet shop in my local home brew shop. Be careful! 😉. That said if your placing a large order you can save quite a bit online. Enjoy

Welcome to the forum Awalker00

As dad_of_jon posted above we have home brew shops offering members discount codes, you can find them in the sponsor forum.

If you have probs getting equipment or ingredients then why not try brewing Turbo ciders or WOW wine. Very little equipment needed to start and you really only need a yeast strain to brew (and maybe pectolase to help clear haze)

Sorry but what is WOW wine still pretty new to all this ?

Turbo Ciders and WOW are a cider and wine made from pure fruit juices bought in the supermarket.

I have found that the absolute easiest brew is a Turbo cider. Basically empty some apple juice into a Demi john - add yeast and maybe pectolase if you like the cider clear and leave to ferment. A half decent cider will be the result with very little work or money:thumb::thumb:
