Another bloke returning to home brew
Just waiting for a week for my first batch of Youngs to be ready for tasting.

Hoping to learn a lot from my new membership on here from all you beer gurus :thumb:

Best regards

Dave

Im from Dewsbury in West Yorkshire !
I visited a home brew stall in Barnsley market today and came away with a Geordie Yorkshire Bitter kit along with some Dextrose sugar which the stall holder said was better than ordinary sugar (we shall see because I have just finished setting it going!)

She says she has had the stall for forty years so hopefully shes clued up!!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone :)

Dave

dextrose is slightly cleaner than white sugar - whether it makes much difference is pretty open to debate. moley swears by white sugar for wine!

welcome back and good luck :)
