My beer has been brewing for about 7 days and it had stopped bubbling at the top however when i transfered it onto the counter and across the room it has started to bubble slightly every so often.... I'm transferring it in to a pressure barrell however I haven't yet bought a CO2 gas cannister....

Am I alright to start transfering it into my pressure barrell?

Thanks to any help! (I've already got the spray-malt ready to prime it)

Best way to tell is with a hydrometer. if it's sitting around 1.010 (with most 4-5% lagers, ales etc anyway) you're probably safe to do so. i'd imagine the transferring has caused a stir, along with the bucket bending slightly and just shoved a bit more gas out.

bubbling isn't just a sign of fermentation but general gas release, which happens for a long time after initial fermentation has completed. it's actually beneficial once your beer is in the keg as the co2 helps to keep it oxygen free.

Your pressure barrel won't explode if you cock up slightly however, there's a release valve that will allow excess pressure out, so it'll be safe, providing fermentation has finished - which, after 7 days, is pretty likely. To avoid stuff like this I usually just clear it out in the bucket - it's ready to drink straight after, as like most simple home brewers, I can't be arsed to age beer when it's clear, carbonated and tasty

As for your spray malt, heat it in a small amount of water and allow to cool before you add it in. That stuff clumps like hell in cool beer.
