looked at a few recipes and was'nt too sure about one thing that i kept seeing ,on this example below (found in the recipes page)it says "crystal malt - 80L" is this litres, cause i did'nt think that we went that high......please enlighten...
Confused , in spain.

Pale Malt - Maris Otter Grain 3500g
Caramel/Crystal Malt - 80L Grain 250g
 
The 80L refers to the colour of the crystal malt and reflects the kilning processed used.
The lower the number, the lighter and less sweet it is. Higher numbers are darker and add sweeter tones....almost toffee like.
