Hi Guys,

About 18months ago my friend gave me a load of kit that I have just cleaned up and wanted to check what method of brewing would be best suited to what kit I currently have.

I have an electric boiler/cooker plastic bin with an element in (tested and works)

Several plastic fermentation bins/buckets

As well as lots of other things like brown glass bottles, kegs, meter to check gravity readings etc.

Now for my first couple of brews I wanted to start as I mean to go on and have seen a few kits like:

www dot copperkettlehomebrewing dot co dot uk /full-mash-kits/624/hobgoblin-

(I like hobgoblin, so safe first choice)

Have I got the right kit, or what else will I need? For all grain, or would I be better suited to another style of brewing with my current (basic) kit?

Cheers guys :)

well.....

with a boiler you can do 2 things

1) Brew in a bag, where all grains are put into a muslin bag and mashed in there then sparged into the boiler or

2) Buy/make a mash tun and put the grain in that to mash.

BIAB how to is here viewtopic.php?f=30&t=27271
