help please im fed up of getting soaked

Hi all i finally got my c02 regulator and gas this morning and linked it up to my corny on cider at 30psi. Ive had the corny and this tap for a while http://www.stonehelm.co.uk/browser.php? ... oduct=5083

But all i kept getting was froth following advice i bought 3 meters of 3/16 inch pipe, i cut the tap in the middle then useing 2 of these connectors http://www.brewuk.co.uk/store/container ... -3-16.html
3/8 to 3/16 reducers but the problem is now as soon as connected to the barrel it just sprays all over me

First of all, it would help us if you would tell us where it's spraying from. The tap? Disconnect? Reducers?

sorry yeh from the reducer at the tap end.. :thumb:

The Speedfit reducer is for joining rigid pipe not the flexi pipe that came with your flexitap . . . and that is why it's spraying out. you either need an insert in the pipe (probably wont work) or use a 3/8 Stem to 3/8 hosetail . . . I may have a couple of spares if you are interested
