Although the LED driver controlled the flow pretty well the controller or the pump screamed loudly (very annoying sound) and I lost some flow at maximum. Anyway,Well I was thinking I might just restrict the pipe by mechanical crimping? I’m too tight to buy a 1/2 ball valve. Planning to use the sight glass tube as the overflow drain as I hacked a connection to the tap. Also Added a slot for the solar pump mounting.Wow! That's plenty. Let's know if it works out.

Yes, just get the polarity the right way round. They don’t run if the polarity is reversed.So would that be a car battery?
