Help ! Its blowing up!

Need some quick advice my brew predictably is going mental and incredibly active, have created blow off valve as thought this might happen but still isnt coping and is starting to come up the blow off valve. Is there anything I can do?!?!? Ive included a photo of my current set up below. Its only been fermenting less than twelve hours

It should calm down after a day or two, there's not a lot you can do really. You've done the right thing in attaching a blow off tube, I should have used a blow off tube a couple of weeks ago with my rice wine....it went mental on day 2 or 3 and fired the airlock clean out. :lol:

Other than opening the lid a crack to vent some of the krausen (which will of course make a mess) there's not much you can do other than what you have

The blow off is coping as that is what it is designed to do, if that was an airlock the top of the FV would be a right mess with the blow off there is no mess to clean up.
