Hi folks,

Tonight I'm starting to drink my 1st ever brew, Coopers Mexican. A lot of the members who brew from raw ingredients might shrug their shoulders at this one :D , but I'll ask anyway because I'm a complete novice  .

In a couple of weeks I'll be emptying my FV of the TC that's on the go. I'd like to try another beer kit. The Coopers Mexican has a light taste that reminds me a bit of Budweiser, but has a slight kind of citrus tang.. What other kits can you people recommend me. Muntons, Beerbuddy, Youngs etc?? I'm not a fan of those 'kacky' tasting beers that just taste stale & bitter on your tongue though, I like something crisp, fresh & light tasting..

Thanks,
Chris :drink:

i`ve brewed quite a few kits in the last six months - i`ve also got a coopers mexican conditioning!

coopers lager is a great kit - tastes very simular to the coopers mexican but minus the citrus twang - a bit smoother!
i can reccomend the coopers range and also any of the woodfordes ale range - woodfordes wherry is a great kit and if you are near to a wilkos you can get it for 14.99!!

also try the geordie kits or tom caxton kits with brewing sugar or dried malt extract!!

most of all have fun!!
