Hi
I'm Angela,& I'm new to the forum & new to home brewing-I've just got my first kit today-but I'm far from new to drinking real ale!!!
I know a few people who brew their own beer & I talked to them about it.It interested me so I thought I'd give it a go as a hobby away from work, which is producing adverts & podcasts for local radio.I also sing in a choir & play clarinet, flute, tenor sax & tenor horn,& I'm joining a brass band at Easter.
I'm looking forward to seeing how my debut brew turns out,& to learning all about making different ones in the future.

Welcome to the forum

Good luck with the first brew, what's the kit?

If there's anything you don't understand, don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you so much for the welcome & offer of help & advice-I'm likely to need it!
The kit I got was Tom Caxton Real Ale.

hi ange hows it going!
ive brewed the tom caxton real ale, having one just now and its not too bad. it does end up quite dark and 'aley' so dont know if you will like it, if not you can send me your bottles :D
jeez u play some amount of instruments, you wont have any time to play them anymore as brewing will take over your life and you will end up on this forum 24/7 reading posts like the rest of us on here!
awra best! give us a shout if u need any help with the tom caxton kits, ive also brewed the lager one aswell and its gd.i would use light unhopped spraymalt with it

I noticed it was a dark one-usually I would drink a pale ale but I'll try anything-& I will add you to my list of "tasters" :-)
