Hello there from returning brewer

Hey All,
I am returning into this great hobby.

I used to brew about 8 years ago, but gave it up due to time constraints.

I am now in the fortunate position to be looking at early semi-retirement, and my wife (who still remembers the Summer Lightning clones I used to make), suggested that I do it again to keep me busy.

So, doubly fortunate, I have a wife who supports me getting back into this!

I will mostly be doing BIAB method, and have purchased a Klarstein Maischfest Boiler, and did my first brew on Friday. It is now in the fermenter, and I will be doing my second batch, a low alcohol bitter aptly called 'Irresponsible Parenting' that I picked up from this site.

Look forward to updating you all and doing more research on this forum

Hah, I said the 2nd batch was Irresponsible Parenting, the first (in the fermentor from last Fridays brewday) had to be Summer Lightning, and boy does it smell good!

I have now ordered 4 corny kegs, a regulator, 3 mini kegs,a party star tap, and a tap for the cornies, had to strike whilst the iron was hot before she changed he mind. All I need now is a co2 tank!
