I had my first beer brew kit bought for me for xmas and have just got started.
Im from Wales and have a interest in all real Ale that is brewed and sold in Wales, and my (empty) bottle collection is growing.
My favourite is Felinfoel brewery Double Dragon, based in Llanelli. other favourites are Rhymney Brewery, Brains, Tomos Watkin, and Celt experience.

This is my first attempt at homebrew after a few years of consideration. I am under no illusion that it will be plain sailing and have joined this forum because i know i will have many questions.

anyway,

have a nice new years celebration everyone, just a shame my homebrew will take a few weeks yet and wont be ready for New years eve party. :grin:
 
Hi and welcome, I have brewed a clone of double dragon a few time and find it very nice, unfortunately I've never tried the real thing.

You should get the book 'Real Ales for the home brewer by Marc Ollosson (a fellow Welshie) A few good welsh brews in that. Theres a couple in Graham wheeler's book too...
