Hi All,
I'm re-discovering home brewing after a 15-year break and finding how glass demijohns, glass airlocks and Boots brewing kits have either disappeared or been replaced with plastic equivalents.
I've started simply with an old (but clean) fermenting bin that I never got rid of and bought a new 2-gallon pressure keg (I always wanted to try one, although was always suspicious of their ability to keep gas - so we'll see). A week ago I kicked off fermenting a Belgian Abbey-style beer from a wort kit and it reached SG for bottling yesterday. So I've kegged it and now have to wait 6 weeks.
There's a lot to read and catch-up on to refresh my skills, so looking forward to participating in the forum.
Cheers! :
