Hi there.
I have been brewing and winemaking off and on since 2007. Mostly "off" but I want to be more "on". I also made a few beers and wines in the early '80s when I was a teenager and was shocked at how good the kits have become some 25 years later.
Maybe one day I will move on to all-grain brewing but, for the moment, I am perfectly happy with brewing from kits as they are so good. There are also so many that I want to brew! Last year, I added some hops to a kit brew and will be trying that again.
