Hello from Hertfordshire

So I received some money for Xmas and have invested it in some brewing equipment.
I did lots of research online but am lucky to have a home brew shop near me (in St Albans) and went there to buy everything.

A big thanks to everyone on this site as I have been lurking for a while and picked up some great tips. One of my biggest concerns was temperature control during the initial ferment and after reading here I've just purchased a 100w aquarium heater from eBay (for £6 incl postage :0 ). Will be using this in a water bath.

First brew is to be a St Peters IPA.

Great that you are supporting your LHBS, their advise will be invaluable if you keep up your hobby!
There are loads of people on here who use aquarium heaters too. Cheap and effective!
Just done a St Peters Ruby Red Ale myself! Was fantastic!
