Hello, I’m new to the forum and thought I would say my hellos!

I’ve been home brewing for about six months now, with varying levels of success, though nothing undrinkable so far! Based in Manchester/Trafford, so there are a few decent home brew shops a drive away but I’ve mostly been sourcing bits online. For equipment, I’ve got an electricboiler that I’ve been using for mash and boil, with a mesh for dunk sparging, hoping to branch out mind.

To date, I’ve put together an IPA, few pale ales, a not-bad stout and working on another APA at the moment in a keg.

Quite a hobby really: I’ve probably spent more pursuing a nice cheap pint at home and for friends than I’ve spent in pubs in the last five years!! Onwards and upwards!

Quite right Gerryjo, feeling out a working setup has been a bit steep but learning not to get too distracted by any shiny new bits of gear

Shiny is great but expensive and don't make much a difference to your beer.It will calm down eventually though.
