Hi peeps
I've been brewing country wines and ales for a fair few years but have never thought of joining a forum. But in search of inspiration for mead recipe's I came across you guys.
Currently enjoying a glass of blackberry mead and hoping for many inspiring recipe ideas for more alcoholic endeavours!
On the ferment is grape wine - red grape but I've forgotten the name of the grape. (Its a vine that's 30 years old, my father gave it me.)
I also have gooseberry wine and apple wine on the go.
Also have Rosemary and Bay Ale conditioning - newly bottled. As well as Plum Vodka and Sloe vodka.
And something I tried last year which has worked brilliantly - Gooseberry Vodka. (I have an allotment and a lot gooseberry bushes) Next year I'm doing gooseberry gin with less sugar. I think that would work really well, especially with a dash of tonic and ice and maybe a slice of lime. :)
Cheers
Shel
