Brewed extract kits when I was 18, all turned out pretty horrid especially the coopers lager, I thought it would be a great idea to double the instructed sugar amount! Sure to say me an my mates drank it anyway!

My dad brewed all grain for a good few years, mostly darker bitters, at the time this didnt take my fancy, although I wish I would of taken more attention of what he was doing.

So I drank lager, fosters/carling/ all that sort of stuff until I was about 23/24, I then attended a local beer festival organised by 'camera' over 100 real ales to try!! Remembering going through the doors but not much about coming out! My switch to real ales began!

Now 31 all I drink is ales, people who drink the fizzy chemical fosters for instance I regard as having 'something wrong with them' lol
