My first ever batch is seven days into fermentation!

Been going to Cleg for years on holiday.....we rent a chalet at the Fitties.
Do you get the chance to ever drop in to Willy's brew pub? He gets some cracking ale on in there and his house beers are good too.

Ay Up Mr T...Another good pub in Cleethorpes is on the Railway Platform..I called in there last summer for a couple of pints..Great Real Ales :thumb:

Yes its the theme park next to Thorpe Park, and Highwayman ive just returned home from the Railway Platform and can confirm, the ale is still pretty damm good!

Hey stevander74,

I'm brewing Coopers lager at the minute, only just started so trying to get a decent beer from using a kit. Done all the stuff as suggested on the forum like treating the water, staying away from normal sugar and improving the yeast, so fingers crossed it will turn out ok :hmm: !

Spent an hour in my local homebrew shop this afternoon, so looking forward to trying to brew from scratch, but guess it's best to walk before running :!: When the confidence grows a bit and i begin to understand the process more i'm sure ill be treating myself to some shiny new brewing tackle!
