Hi,

My name is Alison and my partner and I are in Cambridgshire. We are interested in homebrewing and have made wine and beer kits. We have also successfully (depending on how you define success!!) made mead, parsnip and elderflower wine and various flavoured spirits recommended in any river cottage book including a delicious sloe gin and rumtopf!!

Our biggest success was cider- we collected apples and pears from family and friends and managed to make over 6 different types of cider from washing to crushing to pressing and fermenting!

Any tips welcome for homebrewing :)

Hi and Welcome. To be honest it doesn't seem that you need many tips. That is quite a CV! :thumb:

Welcome to the forum Alison. :thumb:

The only tip I would give you is Patience give your brews time to mature, oh and keep brewing that way you will be able to let them mature and still have stuff to drink (eventually).
