Hi guys, i been on here for almost a week now. Forgot to introduce my self. You can call me Gaz if you like i don't mind. I have come back to brewing after taking some 10 years out, it never really got of to a good start back then.

Since most homebrew shops have gone from my local area, morrisons and a few other supermarkets have cut back on a few things. Things are much tougher and more of a waiting game now. So i have decided to throw on a few simple brews, saying simple it is me and anything can go wrong

Nice to see such an active forum and members helping out other folks with issues, this is what it is all about. I have spoken to a few people now who have been great in advice giving and recommendations. So thank you to you guys.

Hello to the rest, :drink: :drink: and get :drunk:

Depending on where abouts you live in Blackburn, you have got Leyland Home Brew and Spitting Feathers in Bolton.

yup was thinking about leyland, they have the dogbolter homebrew kit. Bolton is more better as i can travel by bus, depending whereabout it is. The only thing i have with internet is, if i want to do something i want to get it done lol, waiting is only done for me whilst brewing. But thanks i'll check out the adds and will probally go Bolton, on Wednesday.

Spitting Feathers is about half way down Tonge Moor Road, The nearest Train Station is Hallith Wood and it is possible to walk (10-15 min walk) from there to the shop (though it depends on what you are planning to buy). Tonge Moor Road runs parallel to Blackburn Road wich your Bus would (I'm guessing) be travelling down, so you would either have to get off at Bolton Town Center and then catch a bus to Tonge Moor, or get off at the Asda at Astley Bridge and then take a bus to Tonge Moor.

I hope that helps a bit and isn't too confusing :D
