Hi I am new to the forum and also new to home brewing. I have decided to take this up as a hobby to save some money on all the beers i was buying and hoping to create some great flavoured beers of my own. I love a lot of heavily hopped beers light or dark and am looking forward to experimenting with brewing some of these. I have started off with an extract kit but looking to move on to all grain brewing so I have more control (will also have to do the odd cider brew to keep the wife happy). Any hints, tips or beginners mistakes for me to look out for would be appreciated.
Thankss
Russell

Hi and welcome the forum. You're in the right place for good advice as there is plenty of brewer's who have all been there done that so don't be afraid to jump in and ask as I'm sure you will get a response regarding how silly you think it maybe.
Brewing all sorts from beer, cider, mead and wines so plenty of threads with loads of advice and don't be afraid to chuck in your own as we are all ears and everyday is a school day.....
