Hello everyone, new to the forum, came across a present I got from a friend (beer making kit) and decided it was time to try brewing.
My retired Dad was a brewer/chemist for a well-known brewery back in the day, so I’d quite like to be able to talk to him about the science of it all, the process.
Problem I have, which I’ll start in a new thread- I don’t think you can buy a kit for the beer I want to make, so learning to boil the recipe / get the recipe is the reason I’m here…
While any IPA is my tipple of choice, I especially like the American IPA / PA, and love both tropical and milkshake beers. Tiny Rebel brewery is my happy place, with Beavertown close behind it, Northern Monk third. Love a Camden and some of my local beers (Midlands), with Purity and Wychavon being two breweries that do a nice golden ale.
Look forward to chatting brewing with some of you on here…
