Hello

Just registered so I thought I'd say hello.

Looking at getting into homebrewing with a couple mates so I thought this would be a great resource for where to start.

Any tips on how to get going would be great

Cheers

Hi and welcome - you certainly came to the right place :-) As @Gerryjo says, the 'How To' guides are where I would recommend starting.. and don't worry, it really is pretty easy to get extremely good results, and you don't need a lot of kit... so don't get put off by all the chat about the very fine details and shiny equipment people have bought - it's like fishing.... a spiffy carbon fibre rod and custom-made reel feel great to own, but a bent pin on a bit of string can catch fish very effectively too!

Hi! I'm a complete Newbie too. Just bottled up my first ever batch and well pleased. I'm probably not best placed to be doling out advice yet but I would say just get yourself a kit and have a go. Best of luck!

Thanks for the welcome and all the info.

Our plan was to brew a couple kits (starting with the tiny rebel cwtch kit) till we've got a good basis to start on and then move over to AG.

Are the all in one brewing systems (brewzilla etc) any good or would our money be better spent buying individual bits?

Cheers

It's down to personal choice really, I started with a 3 piece set up and now have an all in one and prefer the latter for ease of use. Have fun.
