Heat mat for Kveik

Morning all
Anybody know if there is a heat mat that can achieve a good temperature for fermenting out Kveik yeast ?. My fermentation chamber is in constant use as I’m running low on stocks,, so I was thinking maybe I could insulate a FV with a sleeping bag and by sitting it on a heat mat I could maybe achieve a high temp .. I’m brewing in the shed so ambient temp gets quite cool in the evenings 8’c..Is there any on the market that could achieve this ?my Inkbird is in use so will need one with a built in thermostat

Outside in the shed I have a bottle conditioning setup. 3 crates covered with an sleeping bag.
That sits on a hostess tray, with a power controller & a thermometer. Set at 50w that is more than capable. Think simmering a saucepan, you just need to turn it down until your find the sweetspot.

I don't know how suspectable to temp kveik is. This can also be run with a inkbird.

Ideally I want it to be 30-45’c and not drop below 25’c ..I don’t know if I can buy a heat mat to do that job especially at night when it drops to 8’c.

Defo a hostess tray will do that. With insulation. They are typically 200-300w.
I would put a small patio slab on it to even it the temp. Power controller @ about 50%

There is no brewing mat that will do it for sure.

I have done a lot this sort of setup. Bread, beer, seed propagating, vodka, mashing. Converted BM to a fermenter, sous verde, beekeeping... the list goes on.

Turn the knob,
Read the energy meter (in watts) set about 100w
Pop a thermometer through the sleeping bag (end of zip often has a gap)
Adjust to you get the temp you want.

Note:
If your shed has massive ambient swings (lots of sun and a tin roof) you prolly need an inkbird/stc1000.

The energy meter is optional, but does make the whole job a lot easier. And when you work it out, you know the exact numbers for next time!
