Just been down to the barn to grab a pint from the cornie, on the way back the wind (meteorological not sprout generated) blew the head off my beer?

Whats should I do? Move house to somewhere less windy, device a cunning head protection device or become a southerner where they don't care for a creamy top? Any other suggestions :wha:

Build a bar in the barn (it's big enough!) then you can sit in there and drink it! Or build a kegerator in the house then you won't have to venture out!

Building a bar is not a bad idea, would feel a bit lonely in the barn though, I'll have to invite mates around more frequently and I already pay a hefty beer tax to them :D

Glad to see your putting that kit to use, looks like your brewing a fair selection of ale there :thumb:

Cling film will hold that lovely frothy top on, a pint without an inch of head isn't acceptable around here!!

I would have thought a free carrier bag more your style BB... :D

you could always get swmbo to walk in front of you holding an umbrella over the beer.

cling film seems to be a winner until I work out clever gizmo that will sell millions of units and allow me to retire early - I wish :D

my beer is in the garden shed - on a windy night I try and keep the beer in the lee of me - can be interesting on a dark and windy night after a few beers

Yeah the kit has done very well. Not changed a thing, everything still as you sold it and working fine! Love it!
