Anyone dropped the temp to the lower guide levels on the packet?

I didn't have any lager yeast lying around and I wanted to ferment my Coopers Cerveza as close to lagering temps as I could. Having read the instructions only the Euro lager is said to have the lager yeast so I had a hunt around and found my US05 packs. It says on them that they are useable as low as 15 degrees, so wondering what sort of results I can expect :)

Currently sitting between 16 and 17 degrees and getting a steady bubble every 30 seconds (after 36 hours) so really just about to get going.

Nottingham produce better beer in such low temps, aroma seems better balanced, but if the ambient is 16c, you should get healthy 17-18c in fv. This is fine for US-05.

I've feremented with US05 at that temp. It's very clean. I've only done it a couple of times but I had no problems with it. YMMV.
