Just started this kit
Gozdawa Belgian Xmas Trappist ale.
Single can kit, as per instructions added 0.5 kg Dark candy crystals, 0.5kg Dextrose, 1kg white granulated.
SG 1.053
Tasted the wort, very reminiscent of bonfire toffee. 😊
Recommended on the instructions to make yeast up as a starter, which I did.
Will update as she goes.

Quick update - 14 days in fermenter, still bubbling, although only occasionally now !!
Temp today is around 23C - Gozdawa recommend a temp between 23 to 25 so in range - I have been keeping it as close to 24 over the last 2 weeks
Starting Gravity was 1.053, today took a reading of 1.007 so looking at about 6.04% so far
I am wondering how low this will go !!
The yeast is their own Belgian strain.
