Please, please let there be someone out there who has a Harvey's Best Bitter Clone Recipe. 30 years ago I was introduced to real ale and you cannot get better than this for a decent, consistant real ale pint of bitter.

I have search world wide for clones and feel there is a home brewer who got it right..... Please share it with me!

I've seen one somewhere, but I believe the secret to getting anywhere near would lie in getting hold of the Harvey's yeast strain.

As always, google is your friend...search for "harveys sussex best clone" and this turns up:

http://www.brewuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2981, seems to run on a bit with a few contributors, but see what you can gain from it.

Good luck

hmmmmm... yeast

might have to ask my local landlord to get a barrel in, and save me the slurry :D
