I have lost the instructions for the Harris Quickfine filter kit. I would be grateful if anyone could let me have a quick reminder please. Many thanks indee.

Blimey, that's a blast from the past, is that the one with the two buckets, canvas bag and powders?

Please understand that I'm not trying to get rid of you as soon as you've arrived, but in this instance I think you would be much better off asking your question on the homewinemaking forum. I know that a couple of their members still swear by that system (which I only ever swore AT).

Apart from that, the site is hosted by Harris Homebrew and personally administered by Andrew Harris, so if the manufacturer can't help you then I don't know who can.

Stick around though, this forum is far more active and I think the atmosphere's better. You are quite at liberty to use both, many of us do.

Thanks for your very quick response. I will look for their website. I have used their system for years. I did use filter papers but found them slow. I will certainly stick around :cheers:

Click on the blue text in my post and it should take you straight there.

I don't use that system now but I still have the bottom bucket with the central outlet which sits on top of a DJ, it's absolutely ideal for straining country wines.
