“Heads up improves head retention in all beers by enhancing foam stability. It improves foam cling and minimises problems resulting from contaminants (such as washing liquids) in beer glasses. Simply whisk 1 phial into half a cupful of water and add to the beer towards the end of fermentation. 2 phials may be used for a stronger effect. Sufficient for up to 3 brews.”
Like most inventions, I ask myself “Why?” and the answer has to be “If you want to make beer more like commercial brews?”
In my case I don’t so I’ve not used it, but I can see the attraction.
