One of the recipes I followed called for Gypsum to be used. I didn't question it as I had no idea what the stuff was. Now that I'm looking into bulk buying my additives I've just read that this is more of a water treatment for AG brewing to help with the mash?
Is there any reason to use this when extract brewing? Would be a tenner I could chop off my shopping list :)
