I use mine to take beer with me to a BBQ or on a hike. I know, kind of a drunk but I'm a fit, happy drunk!
I use my kegs to condition them and clear up like a brite tank. But my growlers are more like mini kegs. http://m.ebay.com/itm/3-6L-127oz-Stainless-Steel-Keg-Growler-Pot-Bottle-For-Beer-Wine-Home-Brew-Making-/291892271393?hash=item43f6229921%3Ag%3AdIEAAOSw8w1X7MS%7E&_trkparms=pageci%253A73b40f49-8574-11e7-b02b-74dbd180b02a%257Cparentrq%253Afe6c239715d0a9e2af52bea6fff9a211%257Ciid%253A17

They make a head unit that works great!

Anyone else use these? I realize they are more a US thing. But I bought 12 of these 1L growers from this ebay seller

A little expensive I know but I figued they'd be an investment. I don't have room for kegs/cornies and bottling can a bit of a pain, so the bigger the bottle the better.
I thought these would be good for my session beers (beers I like my stouts or ordinary bitters), when I know I'm going to drink at least the equivalent of 3-4 of my normal 330ml bottles in an evening. I can just open a growler pour the beer into a jug and just keep topping up my pint glass.

The piccy doesn't do the growler service. They look really good 'in the flesh'. Total bottle ****

The customer service was top notch too. Stuart the seller got back to me each time I had questions within 2 hours of me posting a message. He also does swing top bottles and regular 500ml beer bottles as well as 2L growlers
MyQul. Definitely a good investment, they're now £79.99 as opposed to £67.99. An increase of over 17.6% in two years. Show me a bank that gives that sort of return. Forget about oil futures, invest in growlers:thumb:
